Türkiye Emerges as Key Global Mediator

Türkiye is increasingly seen as a major player in global peace diplomacy, humanitarian aid, and conflict mediation, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Monday following a Cabinet meeting in Ankara, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

He highlighted recent talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump, noting joint efforts to help end the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. “As the only country trusted by all sides, Türkiye is ready to contribute to the peace talks in Istanbul,” Erdoğan stated.

He also welcomed the ceasefire between Pakistan and India, urging both nations to avoid future provocations.

Addressing the PKK’s announcement of its dissolution, Erdoğan called it a crucial development for Türkiye’s security and regional peace, stressing the importance of the move across all PKK branches.
