By 5:00 PM, more than 27,000 Moldovans holding Romanian citizenship had voted in Romania's presidential elections, ranking among the most active diaspora voters. In total, around 274,000 Romanians abroad had cast their votes by that time, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Romanian citizens in Moldova can vote on May 3 and 4 at any of the 64 polling stations open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. These include 18 in the North, 38 in the Central region (with 20 in Chisinau), and 8 in the South.

Voters must present a valid identity document such as an ID card, passport, or military service book for students. Voting is open to all Romanian citizens abroad, regardless of their residency status, at 965 international polling stations.
