President Maia Sandu met with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to discuss closer cooperation in the energy and economic sectors, and to address the well-being of the Moldovan community in Greece. Sandu expressed appreciation for Greece’s continued support for Moldova’s European integration, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the European People’s Party Congress in Spain, where Sandu is holding several bilateral talks with European leaders. She has already met with Italian Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani and Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker. Strengthening EU support and expanding economic ties remain key priorities during her visit.
