Greek PM Inspects Progress on Thessaloniki Flyover Project

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis reaffirmed the government’s commitment to infrastructure projects during his visit to the Flyover construction site on Thessaloniki’s ring road. Inspecting the progress, he emphasized that such projects were a key promise in 2023 and that the government is judged daily by its work, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

Mitsotakis highlighted the Flyover’s role in easing traffic congestion and improving residents' quality of life. He also reiterated the government's focus on public transport, citing the metro extension to Kalamaria, new city buses, and other traffic initiatives as steps toward making Thessaloniki a more livable city for both residents and tourists.
