Greek PM Mitsotakis Assures Santorini Residents Amid Geological Activity

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited Santorini on Friday, accompanied by the civil protection minister and the regional governor of the Southern Aegean, to oversee state preparations for an ongoing geological phenomenon, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

"The entire state mechanism has been mobilized," Mitsotakis stated, emphasizing that authorities are following expert guidance. He reassured residents of Santorini and nearby islands that the government stands by them during this challenging time. Urging calm, he stressed the importance of preparedness and adherence to civil protection instructions, hoping for a swift return to normalcy.
