Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis Visits Thessaloniki to Announce Key Developments:

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is in Thessaloniki today, marking a series of significant engagements. At 10:15 AM, he will present the Thessaloniki Metro Development Study at the Karapantseio Spiritual Center. Following this, at 11:00 AM, he will speak at the OASTH depot in Stavroupoli to inaugurate the city's first electric bus routes.

At noon, Mitsotakis is scheduled to meet with Metropolitan Philotheos of Thessaloniki. His agenda continues with a visit to the City Hall to meet with Mayor Stelios Angeloudis. Later in the day, he will tour the War Museum and the Floating Naval Museum Destroyer "Velos." Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu extended his congratulations to Andrej Plenkovic for securing his third term as Prime Minister of Croatia. In a message posted on the Government's X page on Sunday, Ciolacu expressed his confidence in the continued strengthening of Romanian-Croatian relations and their collaboration within the EU and NATO frameworks.

The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) led by Plenkovic achieved a significant victory in the April elections, winning 61 out of 151 seats in the Zagreb parliament, far outpacing the Social Democratic Party's 42 seats. This victory cements Plenkovic's leadership and sets the stage for continued bilateral and international cooperation.
