Later in the day, Uznanski-Wisniewski is set to meet Prime Minister Donald Tusk and speak at a press briefing.
Before returning to Poland, he spent a week recovering at the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, Germany, where his health was monitored following his return from space.
On July 15, he and three fellow astronauts — Peggy Whitson (USA), Shubhanshu Shukla (India), and Tibor Kapu (Hungary) — splashed down in the Pacific after a 20-day Ax-4 mission, including 18 days aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
The mission, organized by NASA, Axiom Space, and SpaceX, involved scientific experiments aboard the ISS. Uznanski-Wisniewski, 41, is now the second Pole in space and the first to visit the ISS.
