In a televised address on Monday, Prime Minister Donald Tusk called for unity and courage, saying the government would request a confidence vote in the Sejm soon. He promised continued efforts for a "free, sovereign, safe and prosperous" Poland and assured cooperation with the new president where possible.
Tusk acknowledged Nawrocki's victory, pledging to respect the constitution and voters' decision, while noting an "emergency plan" for difficult cooperation scenarios. He concluded with a message of determination: "The presidential elections have not changed anything here and will not change anything."
