Poland’s GDP Up 3.2%

Poland

Poland’s GDP grew by 3.2% year-on-year in Q1 2025, surpassing the EU average, according to preliminary data from the national statistics office (GUS). Economist Domanski attributed the growth to strong fundamentals and predicted further acceleration driven by rising investment, CE Report quotes PAP

Quarter-on-quarter growth stood at 0.7%, slightly down from 1.4% in Q4 2024. Domanski expects Poland to be among the EU’s fastest-growing economies this year.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk highlighted the strong performance on social media, contrasting it with sluggish growth in France (0.8%), Italy (0.6%), and a contraction in Germany (-0.2%).

Final Q1 data will be released on June 2.
