PM Recean Backs Greenhouse Farmers in Causeni

Moldova

Prime Minister Dorin Recean visited greenhouses run by the Turcan and Sarev families in Causeni, who returned from abroad to invest in agriculture. Over four years, they built four vegetable greenhouses and one for seedlings, growing tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and eggplants using modern drip irrigation and heat-retaining film, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Recean discussed expanding production and state support, including post-investment grants from AIPA, credit rate reimbursements, energy cost coverage for irrigation, and subsidies covering up to 50% for new or staged greenhouse projects.
