Moldovan pupils earned one silver and three bronze medals at the 42nd Balkan Mathematics Olympiad, held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from April 25 to 30, 2025, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Marius Cerlat from Orizont Theoretical High School in Chisinau won the silver medal, while classmates Alin Popescu, Robert Barbuța, and Laura Șestacov each took bronze.

The event brought together 143 students from 24 countries. Moldova was represented by six students and two teachers.
