Moldova

The decree and law amending Moldova's public pension system have been officially published. Under the new regulations, pensions will increase to 3,300 lei per month for individuals with at least 40 years of contributions, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

These pensioners, identified in the Social Protection Information System, will receive the increase automatically—no application is required. According to the National Social Insurance House, 30,611 people in Moldova qualify for this adjustment.

The law takes effect on May 1, 2025, and the Government has three months to align regulations accordingly.
