Bosnia’s largest river adventure ends with celebration, awards

The 52nd International Una Regatta, one of the most important tourism and sporting events in Bosnia and Herzegovina, concluded in Bosanska Krupa with a ceremonial closing and the presentation of traditional awards.

After three days of rafting on the Una River, social gatherings, and numerous accompanying activities, this year's edition ended with messages of unity and gratitude to all participants, partners, sponsors, volunteers, and visitors who contributed to its successful organization, once again confirming its status as the country's largest river adventure, CE Report quotes FENA.

The event was officially closed by the Acting Director of Una National Park, Amir Kosović, the Mayor of Bosanska Krupa, Armin Halitović, and Una Regatta Captain Adnan Kurtagić. During the ceremony, they presented certificates of appreciation to individuals, institutions, and partners for their contributions to the successful organization and implementation of this year's regatta. The closing evening also featured a concert by Denial Ahmetović.

As part of the closing ceremony, traditional awards were presented to the most outstanding participants. Amir Hrnjić was crowned Neptune, while Ema Maračić received the title of Una Mermaid. Antina Panajotu was named first runner-up, and Nuša Britoušek second runner-up.

The Alaga Boat team received the award for the Most Cheerful Team, Bosanski Mustanzi were named the Best-Looking Team, and Ajdijevi Anđeli earned the award for the Bravest Team. Mehmed Lerić was recognized as the Oldest Participant, while Ajna Žutić and Tamara Lepan were honored as the Youngest Participants.
