Rama unveils stadium for Kanye West concert

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that a special stadium has been built in Tirana for the major concert scheduled for July 11, describing it as the biggest music spectacle the country has ever hosted.

Speaking about Kanye West's concert, Rama said that more tickets had been purchased by foreign visitors than were sold for the 2022 UEFA Europa Conference League Final held in Tirana, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

He said the event is expected to turn the Albanian capital into the "world capital of musical entertainment" on Saturday, July 11.

"Good morning, and with the stadium built especially for the biggest concert this country has ever seen—one for which more tickets have been purchased by foreigners than for the Conference League final in Tirana, and which will turn Tirana into the world capital of musical entertainment on Saturday, July 11—I wish you all a wonderful day," Rama wrote on Facebook.

The Eagle Stadium stage has been built specifically for Kanye West's concert, which is set to take place in Tirana on July 11.
