Italian rock band Maneskin is set to get back together next year, TV and radio presenter and comedian Fiorello reported.

Fiorello said on Radio2 that he got the news from the band's drummer, Ethan Torchio, after bumping into him at the Italian Open tennis tournament in Rome on Sunday.

He said the reunion would take place at next year's Sanremo song festival, CE Report quotes ANSA.

The Rome group won the festival in 2021 with their song 'Zitti e Buoni' (Shut Up And Behave) and then triumphed for Italy with it at that year's Eurovision Song Contest, a victory that provided the platform for them to become global stars.

While the band has never formally split up, they took a pause early in 2024 for the members to focus on their solo projects, including lead singer Damiano David's album Funny Little Fears (Dreams), featuring the hit Born with a Broken Heart.
