Mckenna Grace lands lead role in Netflix’s Scooby-Doo prequel
Mckenna Grace has secured the leading role in the upcoming live-action Scooby-Doo series from Berlanti Productions and Netflix.
According to Deadline, the young actress will portray Daphne in the eight-episode series, which will function as a prequel, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
The project, a collaboration between Midnight Radio, Berlanti Productions, and Warner Bros. Television, landed on the platform last spring after a bidding war, with a commitment for straight-to-series production.
Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg of Midnight Radio will serve as showrunners, screenwriters, and executive producers.
