Pop queen Angèle denies hiding income from French tax authorities
Pop queen Angèle denied that she hid any income from the French tax authorities, assuring that she pays her taxes as well as those of her company in Belgium, her birthplace.
The singer made these statements in a press release issued by her public relations office, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
The announcement followed reports about the opening of an investigation by the French tax authorities, which led, among other actions, to a visit to her apartment in Paris.
“At no time can anyone claim” that Angèle Van Laeken and her company Saïmiri SRL “hid income or evaded taxes,” the press release emphasized.
