The daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, who was found dead in a hotel in San Francisco in the early hours of New Year’s night, was discovered unconscious by another hotel guest who believed she was intoxicated.

Victoria Jones was 34 years old and had also been an actress since childhood, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

The young woman was found on the 14th floor of the luxury Fairmont San Francisco hotel several hours after midnight. Paramedics, called over suspicions of an overdose, found Victoria already deceased.

“Our units responded to the scene, conducted an assessment, and pronounced her dead,” a fire department spokesperson said.

The local police department and the coroner’s office also confirmed the findings, stating that there were no signs of violence on her body or any drug paraphernalia nearby. There is also no evidence suggesting that Victoria took her own life, according to U.S. media reports.

It remains unclear why the daughter of the legendary Agent K from Men in Black—who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for The Fugitive in 1993—was in the corridor of the Fairmont, one of San Francisco’s most iconic and elegant hotels. Victoria was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley, the daughter of a former mayor of San Antonio, ANSA reported.

As reported by CE Report, born in Texas in 1991, the young woman had her first acting role as a child in 2002, with a small part in Men in Black 2. She also appeared in other projects at a young age, including an episode of One Tree Hill in 2005 and the western film The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, directed by her father. Tommy Lee Jones praised his daughter’s performance in that role, saying: “She is a good actress, has a SAG card, and speaks perfect Spanish.”
