Drew Hemingway takes on producer role in biopic “Hemingway Files”
Actress and model Dree Hemingway is set to executive produce a new film about her legendary great-grandfather, Ernest Hemingway.
According to Deadline, the film — titled “Hemingway Files” — will focus on the writer’s final years, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
His closest friends, A. E. Hotchner and Duke McMullen, try to help him face his deep psychological struggles and his strained relationship with his transgender daughter, Gloria Hemingway.
The story also explores his growing paranoia and belief that the FBI, led by J. Edgar Hoover, was spying on him.
The film is produced by Jeremy Bolt (Resident Evil) and directed by Jessica M. Thompson.
