Zendaya, Tom Holland delay wedding plans despite engagement
Although engaged since December 2024, actors Zendaya and Tom Holland are not rushing into marriage, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
Tom proposed with a 5.02-carat diamond ring, first seen publicly at the 2025 Golden Globes, where Zendaya was nominated for Challengers, and later at the Met Gala.
According to E! News, their wedding is expected to happen—but not anytime soon—as both stars are busy with film projects, including the shooting of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach stated that she will be a “secret bride,” emphasizing that he’s happy for them:
“They’ve loved each other for a long time, and it’s a beautiful love story to share with the world.”
Zendaya and Tom met in 2017 during auditions for Spider-Man: Homecoming but only went public as a couple in 2021. In recent interviews, both have spoken warmly about their mutual respect and support.
Zendaya has praised Tom as very talented and dedicated, while Tom has said he feels lucky to have someone like Zendaya, especially since they understand each other through their shared career paths.
Due to their busy schedules, the wedding is expected to be delayed for a while. Law Roach confirmed that no planning has officially started yet, as Zendaya is also working on Dune.
The ceremony will be private, with no media access or public photos, and the wedding dress is being kept a complete surprise.
The guest list may include stars like Timothée Chalamet, Bella Thorne, and Hunter Schafer, while singer Benson Boone has said he's ready to perform for the couple. The exact wedding location hasn’t been revealed, but a ceremony in England, Tom Holland’s homeland, is not ruled out.
