Emona Hosts Outdoor Film Fest This August

The seaside village of Emona in Southeastern Bulgaria will host the Sofia Film Fest Emona on August 17 and 19, organizers from Art Fest announced Thursday. The event, held in partnership with Art Emona and supported by the National Film Center and Europa Cinemas, will feature open-air screenings at Ploshtada square, CE Report quotes BTA

The festival opens on August 17 with Flow by Latvian director Gints Zilbalodis—an Oscar-winning animated feature about a cat surviving a great flood alongside other animals. On August 19, audiences can enjoy The Prince’s Voyage, a French animated film by Jean-François Laguionie and Xavier Picard, which explores discovery and trust through the journey of an old monkey prince. Both films will be dubbed in Bulgarian.
