Both professionals and amateurs can submit up to three photos or videos in two competition categories: photography and video.

From August 1 to 3, the village of Iglika near Gabrovo will host the festival, showcasing nearly 900 handwoven Bulgarian kilims from the 18th to 20th centuries. The collection, displayed for the first time in full, belongs to Dutch collector Jacob van Beelen and will be exhibited outdoors and in the village’s historic buildings.

Supported by Gabrovo Municipality’s 2025 Culture Fund, the event is part of the city’s European Capital of Culture 2032 campaign. The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) is the official media partner.
