Among the highlights was a 1st-century bronze gladiator's helmet, returned with the help of Swiss institutions including the Federal Office for Culture in Bern. Additionally, 872 ancient and medieval coins, a bronze vase, and a fibula were returned from Germany following successful cooperation between the Bavarian Criminal Police, Germany's federal cultural authorities, and Bulgarian law enforcement.

Minister of Culture Marian Bachev thanked both countries for their cooperation, noting that in recent years Bulgaria has recovered cultural heritage from several countries, including Germany, the USA, Italy, and, for the first time, Switzerland.

The event was attended by diplomats, cultural officials, law enforcement representatives, and experts in heritage protection.
