Venice Film Festival 2025: Alexander Payne to Lead International Jury

The American director Alexander Payne (The Holdovers) will chair the International Jury of the Competition at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival (August 27 – September 6, 2025), which will award the Golden Lion for Best Film and the other official prizes, CE Report quotes ANSA.

The decision was made by the Board of Directors of the Biennale, following a proposal by the Artistic Director of the Cinema section, Alberto Barbera.

The jury will be made up of up to nine figures from the world of cinema and culture from various countries.
