Warsaw construction workers get festive surprise after unearthing pre-war Christmas tree decoration

Construction workers in Warsaw had a festive surprise after unearthing a pre-war Christmas tree bauble. CE Report quoting The First News

The discovery was made during excavation work in the basement of a former tenement house on the capital’s Plac Defilad, next to the Palace of Science and Culture.

Posting a photo of the surprise find on social media, the Municipal Roads Authority said: ‘Archaeological excavations always present us with interesting objects.
