Top natural threat in Bosnia and Herzegovina revealed
Forest fires remain the most serious and frequent natural threat in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Officials warned that without stronger coordination, trained personnel, modern capacities, and strict enforcement of procedures, there can be no effective response, CE Report quotes FENA.
The conclusions were presented at a workshop on preventive measures and forest fire response held in Sarajevo.
Domestic institutions and international partners reviewed experiences from the 2025 fire season and discussed how to improve the civil protection system.
