Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Tasos Hatzivasileiou visited Kyiv on June 1–2, leading a Greek business delegation alongside Secretary General for International Economic Relations Dimitris Skalkos, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

At the first Greek-Ukrainian Business Forum since the Russian invasion, Hatzivasileiou reaffirmed Greece’s support for Ukraine and expressed readiness to aid in rebuilding key infrastructure, particularly in health, energy, and transport. He emphasized that reconstruction could offer mutual benefits and serve as a model for sustainable recovery.

The Forum, co-organized by the Greek Foreign Ministry, Enterprise Greece, and Ukrainian and international business chambers, brought together top executives from energy, construction, and security sectors.

Hatzivasileiou also held talks with Ukrainian officials, including deputy ministers of foreign affairs, energy, and regional development, discussing opportunities for Greek companies in Ukraine’s recovery. A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with Ukraine’s Deputy Health Minister Edem Adamanov, outlining future collaboration in healthcare infrastructure.
