China has been "the main driver of global economic growth and stability" in recent years, CE Report quotes ANSA.

This was stated by President Xi Jinping at the start of expanded talks between the respective delegations with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin.

Putin, for his part, emphasized that the two countries will continue to develop their cooperation and announced new joint initiatives in the energy sector, according to the Ria Novosti news agency.
