Romania's government cloud will offer access to over 30 public services by the end of 2025, Minister of Economy, Digitisation, Entrepreneurship and Tourism Bogdan Ivan announced at the Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest (DISB) 2025, CE Report quotes Agerpres

Speaking at the event, Ivan emphasized the government's commitment to building a smart administration through cutting-edge technology. "Since December last year, we have developed a government cloud with one of the world’s most advanced technologies. This is a key step toward reshaping how the Romanian government serves its citizens," he said.

He highlighted the importance of collaboration between public institutions, the private sector, and international partners, noting that real progress depends on shared vision and resources.

Ivan also stressed that digitisation, including technologies like blockchain and AI, will be essential in making government operations more efficient and economies more productive. "In this new era, the most valuable asset is digital transformation," he added.

DISB 2025, held at the Palace of Parliament from April 8–11, gathers over 200 speakers from 30+ countries. The agenda includes five major conferences, such as the Forum for Critical Infrastructures Protection and the debut of the Blockchain Intelligence Forum.
