DFC sends Letter of Intent to IPTO for participation in Great Sea Interconnector project

The US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) sent a Letter of Intent to Greece's Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO), expressing interest in participating in the Great Sea Interconnector project linking the electrical grids of Greece, Cyprus, and Israel, IPTO said on Tuesday, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

According to IPTO, America's development finance institution took the step following an economic and technical evaluation of the project, and will participate either in the share capital or funding loan, or a combinatin of both.
