CC-DB Starts Meetings to Seek Support for Creating "Cordon Sanitaire" Around MRF-New Beginning Leader Peevski

Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) started Tuesday in Parliament a series of meetings in search of support for their declaration about creating a "cordon sanitaire" (sanitary cordon) around Delyan Peevski and his MRF-New Beginning, CE Report quotes BTA

"As we announced immediately after the elections - we will make consultations with the political forces, without MRF-New Beginning, in connection with the declaration about a "sanitary cordon" and the included in it legislative programme related to the adoption of anti-corruption measures, legislative changes so that [acting Prosecutor General] Borislav Sarafov is not elected Prosecutor General," CC co-leader Kiril Petkov told journalists before the start of talks with the MeCH party.
