Slovenian government backs tourist tax aimed at cruise visitors

Slovenia plans to introduce a tourist tax for cruise ship passengers under a new proposal by coalition MPs.

The government approved the measure on Tuesday, CE Report quotes STA.

The initiative also has the backing of the MP representing the coastal Italian minority.
