Russia Prepares for Ukraine Talks

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed Tuesday that Russia is preparing for peace talks with Ukraine, set for Thursday in Istanbul, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

"The Russian side continues its preparations for the talks... That's all for now, no further comments," Peskov said at a press briefing.

He did not name the Russian delegates, though Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and presidential aide Yury Ushakov are reportedly being considered.

The talks were proposed by President Vladimir Putin on Sunday, with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan later confirming Türkiye’s readiness to host the meeting.
