Russia and Ukraine exchanged 205 prisoners of war each on Monday, marking another significant swap amid the ongoing conflict. Russia’s Defense Ministry said its returned soldiers are undergoing evaluations in Belarus before being transferred home for treatment. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the release of personnel from various military branches, including defenders of Mariupol. Both sides acknowledged the mediation role of the United Arab Emirates. The exchange follows a larger swap on April 19, when 246 prisoners were exchanged by each side, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency
