The CAA has already issued a NOTAM for this period. The technical upgrade and maintenance works on the main runway are being carried out to further enhance the operational safety level of “ Nikos Kazantzakis” Airport.

The timing of the works was coordinated with airlines and selected based on passenger traffic data, aiming to minimize disruption to travelers heading to the island.
