Tourism drives Croatia’s economy as foreigners dominate spending

Tourism in Croatia generated an estimated HRK 115.12 billion in 2022, when the kuna (HRK) was still the national currency.

Foreign guests' spending accounted for 87.6% of this amount, CE Report quotes HINA.

Meanwhile, local guests contributed 12.4% of the total revenue, according to Croatia's Tourism Satellite Account for 2022.
