Pristina Airport celebrates 4-millionth passenger

More than four million citizens have traveled this year through "Adem Jashari" International Airport, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that during 2024, the number of passengers and new travel destinations has doubled.

"We have exceeded four million passengers traveling to and from Pristina. By comparison, in 2021, the number of passengers was over one million. This year, we have more than doubled the number of passengers, along with 16 new operators and destinations," said Kurti.

The four-millionth passengers were a couple from the diaspora, Xhevdet and Fatime Gaxherri, who received a series of gifts from the airport.
