AI use soars among Italian adolescents
41.8% of Italian adolescents have turned to Artificial Intelligence for help when they were sad, lonely, or anxious.
More than 42% used it to ask for advice about important decisions to make, CE Report quotes ANSA.
Over 92% of surveyed 15–19-year-olds use AI tools, compared to 46.7% of adults. Only half have visited exhibitions or museums in a year, with lower percentages in southern Italy, and almost 1 in 5 does no physical activity. More than 46% do not read books.
9% said they had voluntarily isolated themselves due to psychological issues.
12% have used psychotropic medications without a prescription.
These are some of the findings from the “Atlas of Childhood (at Risk)” by Save The Children, dedicated to adolescence.
