Poland faces widespread emergency line disruptions
Widespread disruptions on Poland's emergency phone lines were reported on Tuesday across multiple regions, according to Polish news agency PAP.
A Polish trade union for emergency number operators confirmed to PAP that there were problems connecting to 112 and 999 emergency numbers since morning, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency.
Interior Ministry spokeswoman Karolina Galecka said the malfunction affected the 112 number in certain provinces while the cause is currently under investigation.
"At this time, we cannot say whether this is a long-term problem that will require a major repair, or something temporary," Galecka also told PAP, according to broadcaster TVP World.
