Moldova’s young wrestling talents set sights on European U17 Championship
Around 400 athletes took part in the National Wrestling Championship U17 Moldova, held over two days at the State University of Physical Education and Sport, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
National champions in freestyle wrestling were:
Alexandr Cazanji (45 kg), Leonidas Zăbrian (48 kg), Dionisie Negru (51 kg), Marius Chircu (55 kg), Dan Bulgaru (60 kg), Victor Veveriță (65 kg), Earoslav Anastasov (71 kg), Maxim Gașlama (80 kg), Eugen Dohoter (92 kg), and Alexei Usanov (110 kg).
National champions in Greco-Roman wrestling were:
Mihai Cadimschii (45 kg), Victor Nicoară (48 kg), Vadim Țarălungă (51 kg), Andrei Sochirca (55 kg), Vlad Duminică (60 kg), Bogdan Talmaci (65 kg), Maxim Codreanu (71 kg), Vitalii Madjar (80 kg), Vlad Vasilevschii (92 kg), and Mihai Zavtoni (110 kg).
In the women’s competition, the champions were:
Rusalina Portaru (43 kg), Alexandra Mincev (46 kg), Mihaela Bâcos (49 kg), Ruslana Carapetianț (53 kg), Ana Răchițeanu (57 kg), Lidia Ungureanu (61 kg), Margarita Lisița (65 kg), and Euprahia Cazacu (69 kg).
After the national championship, the first international test for the young champions will be the European Wrestling Championship U17, which will take place from May 11–17 in Samokov, Bulgaria.
