
Bulgarian athlete takes fifth in parkour speed at World Games
Bulgarian athlete Kseniya Momchilova finished fifth in the women’s speed event in the parkour competition at The World Games for non-Olympic sports in Chengdu, China.
The 12th edition of The World Games is taking place August 7-17, 2025, CE Report quotes BTA.
Momchilova completed the course in 41.45 seconds. The gold medal went to Miranda Tibbling of Sweden, who stopped the clock at 36.62 seconds.
In the speed event of the parkour competition, athletes must move from point A to point B through an urban-style course as fast as possible. The focus is on efficiency, route choice, and flow. Obstacles must be passed cleanly.
The women’s freestyle event is scheduled for Wednesday.
