Albanian girls earn global praise at World Gymnastics Championship

Albanian gymnastics was proudly represented at the “World Gym for Life Challenge” World Championship held in Portugal, winning the bronze medal, CE Report quotes ATA.

According to the Albanian Gymnastics Federation, the red-and-black girls delivered a fantastic performance and received praise from the jury.

The competition included 33 countries from around the world, with around 3,800 athletes gathered in Lisbon. Albania was represented by gymnasts Merili Islami, Mishela Bitanji, Maria Zefi, Sara Moleci, Nil Elbasani, Nadia Daci, Enesa Sulaj, Chloe Qenanaj, Ilenia Sevdari, Silja Muhameti, Megi Papadhami, Iris Kadiu, Leandra Çela, and Melisa Agolli.

Undoubtedly, credit for this success by the gymnasts aged 7–12 also goes to the national team coaches, the Secretary General of the Federation, Eliriana Karaj, and the President, Leonard Lulaj.

The girls who participated in this championship came from teams in Berat, Shkodra, Lushnja, and Tirana.
