Albania U-19 to face Italy twice in August friendlies

Friendlies against the Italian national team have become a tradition for the Albania U-19 team, CE Report quotes ATA.

Albania U-19 has officially confirmed two friendly matches against Italy U-19 in August.

The Albanian Football Federation and the Italian Football Federation have agreed that both matches will take place in Novara, at the “Novarello” sports center. The first match will be played on August 5 at 18:00, while the second match will take place on August 7 at 11:00.

The Albanian team, coached by Julian Ahmataj, will begin their training camp at the beginning of August. These two high-level friendlies will serve as a testing and preparation opportunity for the team and coaching staff ahead of the first qualifying round for the U-19 European Championship, which will be held in November in Albania.

Albania is part of Group 5, along with Ukraine, Montenegro, and Slovakia.
