Shakhtar Donetsk to host European matches at Ljubljana's Stožice stadium

The renovation of the pitch at Ljubljana's Stožice Stadium has been completed.

This marks the end of a prolonged and, at times, embarrassing chapter for Slovenia’s national stadium, CE Report quotes STA.

Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Janković confirmed the news during a public statement.

He also announced that Ukrainian football club Shakhtar Donetsk will play their European home matches at the stadium.
