Inter Milan will play Fluminense in the round of 16 of the Club World Cup in Charlotte tonight, but coach Cristian Chivu is concerned about the weather conditions that could lead to the match being abandoned, as happened with the Chelsea-Benfica clash earlier. He hopes a final decision can be made before the match to avoid logistical and physical problems for the teams, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

"I hope there is a sense of responsibility and a decision is made by 12 o'clock," said Chivu, who stressed the importance of physical and mental preparation at this stage of the tournament.

Inter qualified as group winners after a draw with Monterrey and victories over Urawa Reds and River Plate. Players such as Frattesi, Calhanoglu, Pavard and Zielinski have returned to Europe due to injuries, while Marcus Thuram has recovered and is expected to be ready for this match.

Chivu also praised Fluminense captain Thiago Silva and acknowledged that the Brazilian team is physically strong and has a highly competitive mentality.

The winner of the match will face either Manchester City or Al-Hilal in the quarter-finals.
