Tennis stars Stefanos Tsitsipas, Stan Wawrinka, Francisco Cerúndolo and Hubert Hurkacz are set to appear at this year’s Plava Laguna Croatia Open in Umag, which will take place from 19 to 26 July in the northern coastal city.

The director of the Plava Laguna Croatia Open tournament at the Stella Maris tennis complex, Tomislav Poljak, said that the participation of these tennis players will elevate the tournament to an even higher level, CE Report quotes HINA.

True tennis enthusiasts will especially enjoy the matches featuring two players known for their fantastic one-handed backhands, as both Wawrinka and Tsitsipas are among the very best in that regard, he said at a news conference in Umag.

This year's tournament will be broadcast live across all continents: North and South America, Australia, Asia, Africa and Europe. This global coverage offers an exceptional opportunity to further promote not only Plava Laguna but also Istria, Croatia and Umag as highly desirable tourist and sporting destinations, said Dragan Pujas, CEO of Plava Laguna and Chair of the Tournament Organising Committee.

The Croatia Open is a men's ATP tennis tournament held in Umag, and is part of the 250 series of the ATP Tour.
