Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy will depart the club at the end of the season, the club confirmed on Thursday. The 38-year-old, who scored 198 goals in 498 appearances over 13 seasons, played a pivotal role in Leicester's 2015-16 Premier League title and their 2020-21 FA Cup victory, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

Leicester's chairman, Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, praised Vardy as "unique" and expressed deep gratitude for his contributions to the club.

Vardy’s departure comes as Leicester faces relegation following a 1-0 loss to Liverpool, which leaves them on the brink of dropping from the Premier League.
