Romanian blind judoka Florin-Alexandru Bologa won the gold medal in the men's 73 kg (J1) event on Friday, at the Paralympic Games in Paris, after defeating Kazakhi Yergali Shamey in the final by ippon, CE Report quotes quotes AGERPRES.

Olympic swimming champion David Popovici decided to donate his prize-winning equipment from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, in order to raise 115,000 euros, the amount needed for the construction of a family home that will receive children with special needs from the last placement center in the Sector 5, Bucharest, according to a press release sent to AGERPRES on Monday.
