The Romanian women's national handball team defeated Bosnia-Herzegovina, with a score of 37-16 (17-8), on Thursday evening, in Cazin, in a Group 1 match of the European Championship - EHF EURO 2024 preliminaries, CE Report quotes Agerpres

The Romanian team, which had already secured the first place in the group, won this game in stride, after winning 49-18 in the round.

David Popovici donates Paris Olympic equipment for construction of home for special needs children

Olympic swimming champion David Popovici decided to donate his prize-winning equipment from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, in order to raise 115,000 euros, the amount needed for the construction of a family home that will receive children with special needs from the last placement center in the Sector 5, Bucharest, according to a press release sent to AGERPRES on Monday.
