BIAS Celebrates 15 Years with Exclusive NFT Collection

Romania

Bucharest International Air Show (BIAS) will launch on Monday its first exclusive collection of NFTs, during an event held at Bucharest Băneasa International Airport 'Aurel Vlaicu', in an innovative collaboration with the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest, via the institutional platform ICI D|SERVICES, CE Report quotes AGERPRES.

“BIAS becomes the first air show in the world to launch its own NFT collection, offering a unique opportunity for aviation and technology enthusiasts to own an authentic digital souvenir from a world-renowned event. The collection will be available for sale in the near future,” states a joint press release from BIAS and ICI.

NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) represent a revolutionary way to own and trade unique digital assets. The BIAS collection will include digital illustrations of aircraft and the aerobatic displays that made the event famous. Each NFT will be a unique token, offering not just a digital souvenir, but also access to a piece of the history and tradition of Romania’s largest air show.

This NFT collection marks 15 years of aviation excellence, and represents BIAS’s first steps into emerging technologies like blockchain and Web3. The collection will be limited to 50 unique units, including 15 'Stratosphere VIP' NFTs. All NFTs will feature unique attributes and utilities, inviting digital art collectors on a new aviation-themed journey.

The limited NFT collection is developed in partnership with ICI Bucharest, a leader in IT innovation research and development in Romania. This collaboration highlights the intersection between aviation tradition and cutting-edge technology.

Bucharest International Air Show (BIAS) is the largest and most important aviation event in Romania, placing Bucharest on the international map of air shows. Since 2009, BIAS has been a story of success.
